How to Register

As an Official Charity Partner, LUNGevity has a limited number of guaranteed entries available for the 2023 TCS New York City Marathon.

Registration Types

1. Race Entry with Fundraising - $3,500 Fundraising Minimum
Available until September 12, 2023
Sign up with us to guarantee your race entry. Participants are responsible for paying their own registration fee through the TCS New York City Marathon website. Participants must raise $1,000 by August 1, 2023, to remain on the team. If the $1,000 minimum is not met by August 1, the participant will be removed from the 2023 TCS New York City Marathon and will not be allowed to participate in the race.

2. Fundraising Only - $250 Fundraising Minimum
Available now until November 4, 2023
Secure your own race entry through NYRR and join our team at any time. This is a great option for runners who are selected through the drawing, time qualifiers, "streakers" (15+ New York City Marathons), NYRR philanthropic members, runners who completed the 9+1 program in 2022, or runners who deferred their 2020 entry due to COVID-19.

Fundraising Pledge

You are responsible for raising your fundraising minimum on or before November 30, 2023.  If you have not met the requirement, we will contact you before charging the difference between your fundraising total and the fundraising minimum to your credit card. No charges will be made at the time of registration.

Cancellation Policy

If you are using a guaranteed race entry, you may cancel your registration and receive guaranteed entry to the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon if you have met the $3,500 fundraising minimum at the time of cancellation. The deadline to cancel is November 4, 2023. It is the runner’s responsibility to register for the 2024 race during the application period and pay the 2024 registration fee.
