This fund is in memory of Johnny Peterman. Johnny was the definition of a strong man that could literally do anything. Unfortunately, this horrible disease called lung cancer invaded his body and this was one fight my wonderful, big strong husband couldn't win. It broke my heart as I watched him become a frail, defenseless man. He fought for as long as he could but the cancer wore him down.

Proceeds from this tribute fund will benefit LUNGevity Foundation, the leading private provider of research funding for lung cancer. LUNGevity Foundation is firmly committed to making an immediate impact on increasing quality of life and survivorship of people with lung cancer by accelerating research into early detection and more effective treatments, as well as providing community, support, and education for all those affected by the disease.
