Transform Lung Cancer With Us
Engage, Support, Make a Difference
With 1 in 16 Americans diagnosed with lung cancer in their lifetime, it’s likely that one of your employees has been personally affected by the disease. Here are a few ways you can show your support for those impacted within your company while advancing LUNGevity’s mission to make an immediate impact on increasing the quality of life and survivorship of all people diagnosed with lung cancer.

Support looks different for each company—below, we have included a few meaningful, engaging, and fun examples of how companies have been involved over the past couple of years. We’d love to talk through what best suits your company.
- Mirati Therapeutics is a long-time Breathe Deep supporter, involved from leadership down. In 2022, they challenged their employees to raise $25,000 for Breathe Deep TOGETHER and encouraged FUNdraisers like trivia nights, pop-up gourmet popcorn stands, and raffles. To ensure their employees were connected to the mission, they invited LUNGevity staff to speak during their town hall.
- Wawa Convenience Stores & Gas Stations lost a beloved colleague to lung cancer and has rallied around LUNGevity ever since, both in Kathy’s memory and to support others who have or will be impacted. In 2021, 10 Wawa store locations created teams and challenged each other to raise more for some fun camaraderie. They held a raffle among their employees to add to their total pot!
Supporting LUNGevity’s Breathe Deep TOGETHER impacts more than 238,000 people in the US who will be diagnosed with lung cancer this year and benefits your company or organization.
Did you know that:
- One in three job seekers says it is extremely important that their organization positively impacts communities.
- 90% of consumers want to know how companies are supporting charitable causes.
